Still home…

November 5, 2009

Haven’t left Sweden yet. We are waiting for a new, improved collar design before I head back to field.

I will most likely leave sometime in January, a time that is known for it’s crispy air and lovely moonlight. Or, put in other words – for it’s extreme cold and long hours of darkness.

Still, it will be great to return. This summer we photographed two females with three cubs each. The “cubs”, or rather sub-adults, will be a little more than 1,5 years when I return and I will try to catch them in spring before they disperse from their mothers. Tsagaan’s collar has broken down so I need to catch him too. I am sure that he will be as angry as last time we met.

See you in January
